Course Objectives
The objectives of this course are:
To help students become safe and responsible drivers
To reduce crashes, injuries, traffic violations, and property damage
To develop a positive attitude toward defensive and safe driving
To learn how to fit safely into the transportation system with other highway users
To familiarize new drivers with the rules of the road
To teach new drivers to show courtesy to others
To teach them to be responsible around alcohol and drugs and to understand their risks
To help them understand the importance of occupant protection devices
To help them learn about current traffic and safety laws
To teach them about the risks of fatigue and other distractions while driving
Do note that this course is not intended to help you pass the road test.
Navigating the course
This course will cover 5 hours of instructions. Our course contains nine learning modules with a course recap and there is no final exam. Each module ends with a quiz.
Each chapter consists of several topics from the title page for each section. Simply scroll down to read content and interact with any activities you see on the page.
You must complete all topics and quizzes in order to move to the next chapter. You can move back and forth with the "previous" and "next" buttons.
If you cannot move forward to the next chapter, it means you did not complete some part of the activity in the current chapter. If you did not complete the time requirements for the section you will be directed to go back to the chapter and review it until the required time expires.
To navigate to a specific chapter please use the table of contents and click on the desired section. Additional tools are found at the top of the page in the Account menu. Note: you can only choose chapters that you have completed.

Audio Aid – available for all chapters and may appear as clips that accompany specific topics. To play audio simply click on the “play” button.
Course quiz – after each chapter. Quizzes are timed at 1 minute per question. You have 3 attempts to pass the quiz with a minimum score of 70% to move to the next chapter. If you fail three times, you will be locked out of the course and will need to purchase it again and start from the beginning.
